When I say pole dance beginner, I wouldn’t teach these all on your first ever pole lesson. There are pole moves you’ll learn in but more so in the first few weeks and months of pole dancing.
There are so many amazing pole seat moves out there, so I want to share some of my favourites with you. Some of these are relatively beginner pole dance moves, while others are more intermediate. For some of these pole dance moves you can go into them from a ‘basic seat’ where as others like a side seat or martini seat need to be tried from a different position on the pole.
I want to share my favourite basic upside down pole moves with you all. When I say “basic”, what I really mean is that these are the initial inverts I teach when people are going upside down on the pole for the first time. Of course there are tons of other moves I teach in between as well!
We’ve got an up coming photoshoot at our pole school so I wanted to put together a little list of cool pole moves and ideas for the shoot.
I’ve tried to put in a range of beginner, intermediate and advanced moves. Here is a list of all the names of the poles moves – the ones I know at least! 😀
