Stand with your strong side closest to the pole. Go into a basic invert making sure you hook your weak leg over the front of the pole. Keep your weak arm where it is on the pole and move your strong arm low on the pole, keeping it straight. Keep your weak leg hooked over the pole as you take your strong leg off the pole and place it behind you, away from the pole. Hold this pose.

There are many different arm and hand grips so make sure to use the most appropriate for yourself.
