Thanks for the information.  My rib/shoulder/back pain has pretty much resolved itself after resting for several months, then strength exercises (push ups mostly) to strengthen my upper back.  I am now getting back to my pole work and have seen substantial improvements.  I looked at the site you posted with the exercises and I will start incorporating those into my workout as well.  Good luck with your recovery.
