Women’s Gym Fights Back Against Domestic Violence

The Embody Pole Fitness “One Day to Sexy” Expo plans to top their last event, when they helped generate the donation of clothing valued at over $600 for WTLC, an organization focused on aiding victims of domestic violence.

Anaheim Hills, Calif., July 3, 2013 – Once again, Embody Pole Fitness partners up with WTLC to help fight domestic violence.

On August 4th Embody will be hosting a fitness expo at their Anaheim Hills studio to promote the work that WTLC does. The last event that Embody hosted for WTLC raised over six-hundred dollars in donated clothes, and this year they hope raise even more. The seven-hour summer fitness event, called One Day to Sexy, will feature workshops in pole, areal silks, burlesque, hip hop, and fitness, along with a fashion show featuring top fitness brands like Onzie and Karmawear, and presentations by health and fitness experts. There will also be a vendor room, showcasing some of the best local businesses focused on women’s fitness.

The event, which is completely free to participate in, will also feature a raffle, the proceeds of which go directly to charity. There is no limit to the amount of tickets which can be bought, and Embody will also be collecting donations on behalf of WTLC. Anyone interested in attending can visit the event website embodypolefitness.com or call at (714) 782-7860

About Allison Rohm

Allison began dancing at age 8, and continued dancing and performing up until the end of high school. In college, Allison's love of film making and graphic arts took over her passion for dance while she was studying to become a filmmaker at Loyola Marymount University. It was not until after being hired at Embody as Marketing Director, that Allison rediscovered her love for dance and movement through the art of pole dancing. After becoming a member of the Embody family, Allison dove head first into the Embody culture and fell head over heels for Pole Dancing. Allison loves the way that pole dancing gave her a new found confidence in her body, her sensuality and her movement, and she looks forward to helping women discover the sexy dancer within themselves.
