Start off by positioning the pole between tricep and armpit while keeping elbow locked in place at an angle, you want to make sure you are starting a little bent at the knees to get this niche just right.

If it helps, briefly lift yourself and feel the pressure to find the right points.

With your other hand go into a hand-shake grip and use it as leverage.

At first lift one leg and keep one bent to get a feel for it and gain balance. When balance is achieved engage your core and push off with bottom hand and extend legs.
