I’m a pole freak because from the moment i started pole dancing I’ve never looked back, my training has ramped up from 1 hour at the studio a week to nearly 10 hours and i still can’t get enough! Although I’ve only really been doing it only for a year and a half i’m already an instructor and perform as often as i can. My obsession has been finding new interesting moves that i can do or change to suit my body so i have a large range of tricks to work with.. most commonly people are asking me what on earth i’m trying – sometimes they work sometimes they don’t but i love trying new things. On top of that training i also have an obsession for perfection and practicing moves continuously, my most recent ‘long term’ move is aerial shoulder mount, after months of training i’m able to achieve it up the pole so i started working on a true dead lift from the ground, and now I’ve achieved that with 2 legs bent i’ll work on straight legs before then up the pole with a shoulder mount hang before dead lifting with straight-legs aerially, there is always progression with a move to make it harder and make you stronger which i strive to achieve.

I’m often known for taking you tube research to the extreme and finding lots of random, unusual but innovative combos to try in classes, this is how i keep my passion alive while working towards the long term goals which can often feel like no progress for long periods of time.

The photo I’ve submitted is from a photo shoot i randomly did with friends last year, along with my extensive list of strategic training, if i have a photo shoot coming up i often take a long time deciding the moves i’ll do, costumes i’ll wear etc to get the look i envisage, i particularly love this photo because the composition is very striking, the colours work well together and the glam look from the sequin top clashes majorly with the gritty urban background.
